ジャニーズWEST藤井＆濱田W主演
「Hey！Say！JUMP」の有岡大貴、高木雄也、八乙女光がロボットに扮した「孤食ロボット」、「sixy Zone」菊池風磨1人主演の「吾輩の部屋である」に続く、日本テレビ毎週月曜深夜放送のシンドラ第3弾が、「ジャニーズWEST」藤井流星＆濱田崇裕のW主演で贈る「卒業バカメンタリー」に決定した。本作は、偏差値70越えのエリート大学生4人組を記録する卒業までのダメ恋愛ダイアリー。卒業までに“大人の男”になるべく、挑戦、奮闘、そして迷走（!?）を繰り広げる、バカみたいに前向きでがむしゃらな愛すべき男子（メンズ）たちのドキュメンタリー風青春ドラマ。
オリジナル脚本を手がけるのは、「シソンヌ」のじろう。「キングオブコント2014」で優勝を果たし、独特な間合いと細部まで設定をつけて作り上げた、どこかにいそうでいないキャラクターの掛け合いによって生まれる演劇的なコントで評価の高い「シソンヌ」。そのネタすべてを手がける“キャラクター作りの魔術師”じろうさんが、エリート大学生4人組の、予測不可能でマイペース、かつシュールな会話を作り出す。
W主演となる藤井さん、濱田さんがそれぞれ、文学部日本文学科の堀口学（ガク）と理学部数学科の米沢真央（マオ）というエリートがゆえに少々ズレていて、純粋な“非モテ男子”を演じる点は要注目。
また、彼らの同級生・農学部農学科の伊田公貴（コウキ）役には、兄弟お笑いコンビ「まえだまえだ」で知られ、『ソロモンの偽証』など映画やドラマで活躍する前田航基。理学部生物学科の仁純（ジュン）役には、ネクストブレイクとして注目を集めるロックバンド「トリプルファイヤー」のボーカル吉田靖直。また、4人組に渇喝を入れる“現役プレイボーイ”の用務員・田村役に実力派俳優の新井浩文が決定、4人の若手俳優を支えていく。
■あらすじ
日本最高のエリート大学に通う大学4年生ガク、マオ、コウキ、ジュンの4人。勉強ばかりの日々を送ってきた4人に残された大学卒業までのタイムリミットは90日間。大学卒業までに大人の男になろう！ と奮起をした4人は、彼らなりの見解に基づき、それぞれの理想の女性に出会うべく、解きにぶつかり、時に失敗し、時には目的を忘れ（？）、熱い友情を交わしながら、悪戦苦闘を繰り返す。そんな大人の男への階段を駆け上がるべく、真の卒業に向けた彼らの大学時代最後の“青春”をカメラが追っていく。
＜スタッフ・キャストコメント＞
初めて連続ドラマの脚本を手がける「シソンヌ」のじろうさんは、「コントを一生懸命やっていたらドラマにたまに出られるようになりました。コントを一生懸命書いていたらドラマを書いてみませんかと言われました。経緯はそんな感じです。見て笑ってもらえたら嬉しいです」と真摯に（？）コメント。
ガク役を務める藤井さんは、濱田さんとのW主演に「テンションが上がりました！ エリート大学生というという役も、僕とは真逆で、普段味わったことのない感覚なので、嬉しいです」と語り、「男の子に共感してもらえるといいな」と思いを告白。「男の子は観てて共感できる楽しいドラマ、女の子には『男の子はこうやってあたふたしてるんだよ？』っていうのを感じて楽しんで観てもらいたい」と意気込んでいる。
またマオ役の濱田さんも「流星と一緒にドラマができる！ と、嬉しくてしょうがなかった」とコメント。「男子4人のくだらない会話も愛らしく見えたらいいな～」と語り、「目標は、楽しく！ かわいらしく！ 初々しく！ 面白い会話はもちろん、男の友情もあるので、少しホロっとしてもらえると嬉しい」と期待を込めている。
コウキ役前田さんは「いわゆるフェイクドキュメント的なドラマは初めての挑戦なので凄く楽しみ」とコメント、「皆さんが覗き見しているような感覚を持ってもらえるよう、自然なグループ感を演じられるように頑張ります」と語る。ジュン役の吉田さんは、今回が演技初挑戦。「普段はバンドをやっていて演技は未経験ですが頑張ります」と率直に語り、この4人のたまり場の清掃を担当する現役プレイボーイの“おじさん”を務める新井さんは「脚本必死に書いてるシソンヌのじろうさん、早く書いて麻雀やりましょ」と楽しそうにコメントを寄せている。
